Spatiotemporal Change of Eco-Environmental Quality in the Oasis City and Its Correlation with Urbanization Based on RSEI: A Case Study of Urumqi, China

As an important node city of “The Belt and Road” strategy, Urumqi has a non-negligible impact on the ecological environment in process rapid development. It is great significance to understand coupling coordination between urbanization for regional sustainable However, previous studies degree (CCD) model are limited, they ignore endogenous relationship two. Therefore, this study aims introduce econometric model, panel vector autoregression (PVAR), further explore them influencing mechanism. Firstly, were evaluated objectively by comprehensive nighttime light index (CNLI) remote sensing (RSEI), respectively. Then, comprehensively typical model. The results showed that: (1) recent 25 years, mean value RSEI decreased gradually, overall deteriorated, but differences among districts counties still significant; (2) level rise, while UC, DBC(B), MD have highest increase CNLI although at low level; (3) interactive environment, development Urumqi’s mainly affected its inertia, limited environment.
